My Frigate.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love to read? Sadly, I don't do as much of it these days as I used to. Reality calls and the reality of the situation is that I can't get paid to read. Oooohhhh wouldn't that be the best job EVER?? Well, right next to getting paid to capture memories in photographs.

I often lament to myself that I should really not buy anymore books until I've read all of the ones that I already own. Ha. At least I know I'll have something to do when I'm old and gray and have nothing else to do with my time. (I don't know how to knit or crochet, so I'm destined to be the granny with reading glasses perched on the tip of my nose with my eyes riveted to the pages in front of me.)

  1. Oooooh! It will be no surprise to you that I LOVE the old book pictures. Great job. And what a lovely collection.

  2. Ah yes, I remember those talks about old books and the time we went on a search for books to buy. :) The collection is actually my mom's. She found them at an antique store years ago. I haven't read all of them, but maybe someday I will. :)

  3. That's so cool!!!
